Pam Tapscott-Lassiter steps down as president

The Ohio State University Black Alumni Society (OSUBAS) announces the resignation of its president, Pam Tapscott-Lassiter.  The Society celebrates Pam for her commitment and great leadership.  During her tenure, Pam has been committed to ensuring that the foundation of the society has been strengthened, as she has successfully ensured that we have been recognized over the last three years as a Scarlet organization.  This recognition is the highest accolade received from the Ohio State University Alumni Association for its clubs and societies. Although the board is saddened by this announcement, we are humbled by Pam’s commitment to this organization and The Ohio State University.

OSUBAS will continue its strong traditions under the leadership of Kimberly Allen Davis, who is the current vice-president-elect. Great leaders are those who serve others and Kimberly has served the community for more than 30 years!  Not only has she been a part of OSUBAS since 2015, she has been a leader for other organizations, charter schools, community boards and as a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.  She is innovative, having worked for the last 20 years in the IT field in a variety of roles.  OSUBAS is proud to know that our leadership will remain strong, as we are confident that Kimberly brings a wealth of knowledge and will take charge to continue to push us towards our Mission Statement to:

Provide a thriving network to connect, advocate and empower current and future Ohio State Black Alumni
