March 2017

A Message from the President, Pam Tapscott-Lassiter

March is Women’s History Month! OSUBAS salutes Women’s History Month by saluting our Black women: mothers, daughters, entrepreneurs, entertainers, authors, lawyers, scientists, engineers and mathematicians that are no longer Hidden Figures.

Ironically a film comes out and everyone, including our own community, wonders how they have never heard of these amazing women. Take a moment this month, this year to learn more about our contributions. With that, I say to all the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, guardians, professors who have made a difference to our alumni and students, thank you! While all our names may not make it in the history books or on the big screen, we have made a difference.

OSUBAS salutes Women’s History Month! We Are All In, stay in touch and get involved!
