Meet the Black Alumni Society Student Representatives!
IMG_0873 Sterling Clemmons is a second year Public Affairs and Journalism major from Detroit, MI. On campus, she is an Office Assistant, Diversity Ambassador, Student Representative for the Black Alumni Society, PR Coordinator for Heart of it All Fashion, and Secretary for Black Student Association! Alexandria Jackson is a third year student at The Ohio State University studying Business Marketing with a minor in Nonprofit studies. When not in class, or studying, Alexandria is very active on campus. She works as an Academic Success Partner in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and as a Student Leader of Recruitment & Look Forward in the same office. Alexandria is also a Mentor through the Mentor-A-Buckeye program, a member of the Council of Black Students in Administration and the Black Student Association. In the Fisher College of Business Alex serves as a Global Ambassador where she helps Fisher students navigate numerous study abroad programs.

 

Shay Spain-Austin is a second year student at The Ohio State University from Columbus, Ohio. She is studying Neuroscience and on a Pre-Optometry track. In addition to being a student representative, she is a Young Scholar for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. She currently works as a Student Assistant for the Frank W. Hale, Jr. Black Cultural Center. She is also on the awareness campaign “Why Us?” that is educating college campuses on human trafficking.
